Good morning and welcome to Day 22 of 31 Days of Resolutions!
While I try to be really careful about what I spend money on, and when I do buy things I do everything I can to use coupons, sales, and rewards cards to my advantage. I fancy myself a pretty good bargain hunter, but I really envy those people who can do no-spend months! That’s really a great way to save money and focus on what we already have in our homes.
While I don’t think this is a time in my life where I can do something like a no-spend month, I can certainly do a no-spend day! So today let’s not spend any money at all. Eat at home, don’t go to the store, don’t buy anything on Amazon! (Gasp!)
While it’s only for today, maybe this exercise will help us think twice before we get coffee at Starbucks instead of making it at home, or eating lunch out when we could just as easily have a sandwich or salad at home.
