Good morning and welcome to Day 8 of 31 Days of Resolutions!
I’ll be honest- this hasn’t been as much of a priority for me lately. There was a good solid month where I was making grilled chicken Caesar salads almost every day for lunch, but in the last few months I’ve been losing sight of my goals. Part of it was pregnancy- eating was about survival for a few weeks there, and part of it was the holidays and I just got lazy. But it’s January, a time for new beginnings!
So today let’s start the week off on the right foot with a healthy lunch. Making wise choices about our food is not just important for our own health, but for the health of our families. My husband usually eats whatever I make, so my choices affect him. My daughter is learning about food and eating habits from me, my choices affect her as well.
