For me, homestyle foods and hospitality go hand in hand. You see, my love language is acts of service, so I really enjoy loving on people with food! This recipe is perfect for that! There’s no greater comfort food in my mind than pasta, and with the new Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauce I can serve up homestyle dishes like baked spaghetti, lasagne, or baked ziti without spending hours in the kitchen all afternoon making sauce from scratch!
One of my favorite dishes to bring to a family who just had a baby is baked spaghetti. With only 5 ingredients it’s simple to make but so filling and delicious!
Preheat your oven to 350°F and cook the spaghetti according to the instructions on the packaging.
Transfer the drained spaghetti back to the cooking pot. Spoon in the ricotta cheese and stir to coat pasta. Feel free to add more or less cheese according to your taste!
Stir in the Ragu Homestyle Pasta Sauce until combined. Again, use as much or as little sauce as you like, but I do recommend you get the pasta a little wetter than you normally would because it will dry out some in the oven. I chose the Thick and Hearty Roasted Garlic sauce for this recipe because I love the rounded out flavor it brings to the meal! And boy oh boy does this sauce stick to those noodles!
Pour the pasta into a lightly-oiled 13×9 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the pasta, then parmesan.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
Serve warm with extra warmed sauce on the side if desired.
This recipe can be easily adapted to be gluten-free, just substitute your favorite gluten-free pasta and you’re all set! Ragu Homestyle Pasta sauces are already naturally gluten-free! With no artificial flavors, colors, or high fructose corn syrup anyone can feel good about serving this to their family.
