Here’s a great tip for when you’re working with fresh garlic cloves- see that stem looking thing on the left? If you remove it and chop and cook what remains your garlic will taste smooth and creamy and won’t have that almost spicy bite that is sometimes associated with garlic.
Follow these easy steps!
1) Crush garlic clove with the flat part of your knife using the palm of your hand. Make sure to keep those fingers up and out of the way!
